Wow!!! What a roller coaster of a year....

It all started with the birth of our little boy Jackson Gordy on April 27, 2007. We spent the first week of his life in the hospital battling on whether or not he would be sent to children's hospital in Little Rock. He was a tough little fighter and was able to stay here.

Man we had no idea how much this little bundle would change our lives. Some time after he was born everything seemed great, however there seemed to be something missing in our lives. David and I wanted to raise our child up in church. One that has strong family values and one that didn't bash every other church around. After spending several hours talking with David's relatives we decided to contact the missionaries of The Church of Ladder Day Saints. We spent several classes learning about The Book of Morman and The Bible. This lead us to the big decision to finally get married. We had to over come a few obstacles to make it to our big day, but we did it this time. This year we have learned that we have to stand up for our family and do what is best for our family. We were married on March 15, 2008. That following week David and I spent it in Branson, MO. The next weekend David and I were Baptized and became official members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Saints.

Which leads us to where we are today. We are still learning the Gospel, the Book of Mormon, Going to Church, and participating in Church activities when we possible. We have changed the language we used, the movies we watch, and the music we listen to now all because of this little boy. This little boy we want to have the best possible childhood and the best possible parents. We pray every night he will grow up to be a very loving respectable young man. Jackson will be 1 year old this Sunday April 27, 2008. This year has gone by so fast. He is walking and talking. Jackson has 6 teeth. I never thought he would be doing all of this while he was laying under the oxygen hood when lines coming out of his mouth, nose, arm, and belly button. David and I are truly blessed!!!
