David, Jackson, and I started our vacation at 2:30 Tuesday morning. Finally arriving in Salisbury, Md around 1pm for some great crab dip, chicken casserole, and dumplings!!! I can not think of a better welcome meal!! The following 2 days were spent at the beach. Jackson was not crazy about the sand and the COLD COLD COLD water. He finally warmed up to the sand but he screamed everytime the water would come near. Wednesday night we celebrated Samantha's 9 th bday at the condo with cake, ice cream, and lots of presents. Thursday night everyone went to dinner at Phillips. OH did I mention we also had Thrasher's French Fries. Best french fries....EVER!!! Saturday morning we had a nice family breakfast at Dayton's. Then we drove to Balitmore and had lunch with Bobby and Trish. Jackson was so tired he skipped lunch and went to grandma Carol's to take a nap. That night David and Jim went to see the yardbirds play some baseball while Carol, Jackson, and myself went shopping and out for dinner. The rest of the vacation was spent at the cabin. It was so nice. The highs in the mid to low 60's and the lows in the 40's. The leaves were already beginning to change. I love that place. So quiet and peaceful!! We just hung out played poker, roasted marshmallows, did a little shopping, cooking, went to the lake. OH did i mention David and Jim saw a HUGE BLACK BEAR while they were fishing... yep true story... It was a great time with family and friends. However I am glad to be home!!!

Brady hated the water too. Even when Stefanie was holding him for me so I could go in the water myself he would scream and reach for me in a panic. I guess he thought it was going to get me. But he did love the sand and all the shells and whatever else he found in it. I'm glad you guys had fun.
I just looked at you walgreen pics today! Jackson looked like he had a wonderful time playing with all the family...I so sad we missed it!
