So this has been a crazy week. Monday one of my friends from high school lost her baby girl, Kennedy Grace. She was 2 1/2 months old. Tomorrow I will go to the visitation. Then one of my guy friend's wife( went to high school with both) was in an accident Tuesday. She just passed away tonight from severe head trauma. They have a little girl, Chloe 3 years old.
Every time I look at Jackson I can't help but tear up. This little girl will grow up with out her mom. That has always been a huge fear of mine since I had Jackson. All I can think about is how hard being a mom can be and how tired you can get of correcting bad behavior. But at a moments notice it can all be taken away. I wouldn't give anything for my time spent with Jackson and I know that I have made the right choice by staying at home with my son. However, I think these events are a reminder to us all that we need to slow our lives down. Make time for our children and the ones we love.
